“I was recommended to this Dentistry by my Grandparents when searching for a new Dentist in Greenwood/South Indy. So glad I took their recommendation! All of the staff is amazing and the office has a comfy feel. I have been seen by Dr. Miller & adore her! I had a couple questions/concerns initially & she was very engaged with assisting me. I have been very pleased with the services & service I have received here. Can’t often say you feel comfortable in a dentist chair but I do here!”

Hello! I'm Dr. Amanda Miller.

If your child has ever been afraid of the dentist, Dr. Amanda F. “Mandy” Miller wants to change that. As a mother of four and grandmother of three, she knows firsthand that a child’s comfort matters just as much as their dental health — and that one shapes the other. Dr. Miller has built her practice around the belief that when children feel safe, cared for, and even a little bit excited to visit the dentist, they carry those positive feelings into adulthood. Her approach is rooted in patience, warmth, and a deep understanding of what families actually need when they walk through the door.

From first teeth to braces consultations, from toddlers to teens and everyone in between, Dr. Miller creates an environment where the whole family can receive care in one place, with one dentist who truly knows them. She speaks to children at their level, takes the time to answer every parent’s question, and never rushes a visit. For her, family dentistry isn’t a specialty listed on a sign — it’s the way she practices every hour of every day.

Education & Background

Dr. Miller’s roots run deep in Indiana. She grew up in Ellettsville, where she graduated as valedictorian of Edgewood High School. She attended Marian University on a path that combined academics with athletics, playing basketball for all four years. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated with highest distinction — a reflection of the same focus and dedication she brings to every patient interaction.

Professional Memberships & Continuing Education

Keeping up with the latest in dental care is something Dr. Miller takes seriously, particularly when it comes to the evolving needs of children and families. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Indianapolis District Dental Society, and the International Association for Orthodontics. Her ongoing education ensures that the families she serves benefit from the most current, evidence-based care.

Community Involvement

Dr. Miller’s dedication to children and families doesn’t end at her practice. She helped found the Indiana University School of Dentistry Student Outreach Clinic and remains involved as volunteer faculty, helping to shape young dentists who will go on to serve families of their own. She provides free dental care through Donated Dental Services (DDS), has volunteered at Wheeler Mission, and has traveled to Haiti to deliver care to communities with limited access to dental services. For Dr. Miller, serving others isn’t an obligation — it’s a calling.

Care Philosophy

Dr. Miller’s philosophy is simple: every patient deserves to feel like the most important person in the room. With children, that means getting down to their level, using language they understand, and turning what could be a scary experience into something they actually look forward to. With adults, it means honesty, transparency, and a genuine partnership in their care. She wants her patients to leave not just with healthier smiles, but with the confidence that they’re in the hands of someone who truly cares.

Beyond the Office

Dr. Miller’s life outside of dentistry is filled with the same warmth and energy she brings to her practice. She and her husband, Leslie, are often on the road with his Celtic rock band, and she never misses a chance to catch the Cubs at Wrigley Field. She’s the proud mom of four — Rory, Doug, Mason, and Morgan — and an adoring grandmother to Madison, Elijah, and Abigail. Her nieces and nephews are a source of constant joy, and her dogs, Maggie and Ghost, keep life at home lively and full of love.
